An Attitude of Gratitude

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make know among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek His face always.
Psalm 105: 1-5

When we have an attitude of gratitude, we are glorifying God and benefiting ourselves.  We need to give God thanks so we can become the kind of woman He wants us to be.  He longs for us to be unselfish, encouraging and confident.

When we give thanks, it refocuses our attention from the anxieties of the world to God gifts.  We refocus on the Lord by thanking Him for all He has provided for us through His guidance and His faithfulness.  Gratitude reminds us that the Christian path is not about us, but about the needs of others.  We reinforce our faith and confidence in Him.

Thanksgiving is a great way to get ourselves out of discouragement.  Have an attitude of gratitude and let God refocus your thoughts to all the beauty that God has provided around you!

Have a blessed day!
