Procrastination Woman

Go to the ant, you sluggard!  Consider her ways to be wise, which having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer and gathers her food in the harvest.
Proverbs 6:6-10

One of my New Year resolutions is follow the advise of Proverbs 6.  We have moments of ducking our responsibility and procrastinate our planning for the future.  As a result, we waste both opportunities and gifts.  The ant is an example of a strong work ethic.  All summer long the ant makes use of good weather and abundant food source to store away in winter.  The ant teaches us responsibility and planning to provide security for self and family.

It's amazing that God's creations are illustrated to instruct us.  God has created spiritual lessons into nature and we can learn from creatures even as tiny as an ant.
