Trials in Life

I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things.  "You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the LORD, have created it.Isaiah 45:5-8

Hardships.  We wonder why God allows us to go through such painful experiences.  It does not  seem right that our loving, precious Father would allow such things to happen.  When we experience hardships, we need to remember a few facts about the adversities we are facing:

There is sin in the world.  Because we live in a fallen word, sin has entered our lives.  With sin comes suffering and hardships.  God could keep us from it, but instead God wants us to grow form it.  He wants us to trust Him.  He wants us to go to Him through our own free will.

We make bad choices.  Sometime our sufferings are from our own foolish and sinful choices.  Most likely when we are walking in the flesh and not by the Holy Spirit.  If God stepped in every time we made a thoughtless decision, we would never learn from those mistakes.  We would never learn about consequences.

We are under attack by Satan.  The enemy will do all he can to hinder us from the Lord.  He will place obstacles in our way.  He will throw distractions and temptations to keep us from growing in God's word and purpose.

God is ultimately in charge.  God allows afflictions to happen.  We must see problems as God's way to use it to achieve His good purpose for our lives.

We hope this message has blessed you today!
